Location: Various locations across the South of England.
Salary and Bonus
- Base salary: £60,000 to £70,000 depending on experience.
- Performance bonus: Up to £5,000 per year, linked to agreed performance metrics across both fee earning and training delivery.
We are looking for a surveyor who is passionate about buildings, learning, and helping others grow. This role blends fee earning with leading the development of our trainees and newly qualified surveyors. You will play a pivotal role in raising standards, strengthening capability, and modernising how we train surveyors at Nuven.

The Role
What the Role Involves
- Delivering residential surveys and valuations to RICS standards, with approximately 60 percent of your time dedicated to fee earning.
- Leading the training, coaching, and technical development of trainees and newly qualified surveyors across Nuven.
- Overhauling and modernising our existing training programme to ensure it meets current and future needs.
- Delivering CPD, training modules, technical workshops, and structured development pathways.
- Reviewing trainee reports and providing clear, practical feedback.
- Leading the CPD programme across Nuven and ensuring full RICS compliance.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and the early-stage development of new technical staff.
Structure, Support, and Expectations
- Fee earning targets will be set to reflect the 60 percent fee earning and 40 percent Head of Training balance.
- You will take full responsibility for delivering the training function at Nuven, giving you autonomy to build and improve the programme.
- You will meet weekly with the Managing Director for guidance, direction, and support.
- As the business grows, the training element of the role will expand, providing a clear path to a senior technical leadership position.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Survey and Valuation experience.
- FRICS/MRICS status.
- Clean driving licence.
